Before Application
1. What should I do to participate in Fintech Zone Istanbul?
The first step to apply for Fintech Zone Istanbul is to fill out the pre-application form using the Application link on our website. If your application is evaluated positively, you will be directed for R&D company application.
2. Are there any conditions or requirements that must be fulfilled in advance in order to apply?
There are two critical conditions to apply. First, you must have an R&D project. Second, you must be a company operating in the fintech sector or planning to operate in this field in the future.
3. I haven't established my company yet, can I apply?
Yes, you can apply without setting up your company.
4. Can only financial technology companies (fintech) apply to Fintech Zone?
Yes, only financial technology (fintech) companies can apply to our science park. Fintech Zone Istanbul is a technology-oriented campus established to support and develop companies operating in the fintech sector. Therefore, companies applying to Fintech Zone are expected to operate in the fintech sector and offer innovative solutions in this field. Our science park contributes to the development of the ecosystem by providing consultancy and mentoring support, networking opportunities and collaborations to fintech companies.
5. Do I have to pay any fee for the application?
Companies do not make any payment during the pre-application process, but they are required to pay a certain fee for the R&D company application. The relevant fees may change over time, please contact us via e-mail or phone to have up-to-date information.
After Application
6. What criteria do referees and commission members consider when evaluating applications?
Referees and commission members will primarily consider criteria such as innovation capacity, business plan and management, competitive advantage, financial viability, commercialization and market potential, sustainability and impact of the R&D project.
7. After submitting the application form, how does the evaluation process and the next steps proceed?
Technopark management will review your application and if any missing or incorrect information is detected in the form, they will request the applicants to make arrangements. If you fill out the application form completely, your application will be sent to the evaluation of the commission consisting of referees. For the applicants who get enough points, the process of allocating space in Fintech Zone Istanbul begins. After signing the lease agreement, you can get your personnel cards and start your activities quickly.
8. In which square meter range the available workspaces in Fintech Zone Istanbul can be rented?
As Fintech Zone Istanbul, we offer workspaces in different sizes. Depending on the workspace you want to rent and your needs, there are different square meter options. For more detailed information, please contact us via e-mail or phone.
9. What kind of opportunities and advantages can I get when I join the science park?
Fintech Zone Istanbul will support entrepreneurs with participation in fintech-focused trainings and seminars, tailor-made mentoring and consultancy support, and access to global grant funds and investment networks.

10. How does the rent and fee pricing policy work in Fintech Zone Istanbul?
The rental and fee charging policy is based on the size, type and services of the space you will be using. Rental fees are calculated per square meter, but may vary depending on the location within the technopark, equipment and additional services. Dues fees are determined according to the common services offered in the technopark and the use of infrastructure. Related fees change over time.
